Following the planned departure of our current lead clinician, a rare opportunity has opened up for an experienced Dentist to join the team at Ivy Cottage Dental Practice in Inverkip on a 4 or 5 day per week basis.

Ivy Cottage is a two-surgery practice with a warm, personal feel and an exceptionally settled team. Many of our clinicians and nurses have been with the practice for 10 years or more, offering a supportive environment alongside another experienced Associate Dentist.

This role allows you to step directly into an established list of approximately 3,500 patients with a strong community reputation.
The practice is fully equipped with modern technology, including a digital scanner and OPT, as well as on-site parking for convenience.

About the Role:
This unique caretaker opportunity allows you to support associate dentists during periods of maternity leave or long-term absence. You won’t be filling vacant posts—you will step into well-maintained, up-to-date patient lists with loyal, appreciative patient bases and supportive local teams.

Rotation Structure: Placements typically last 6–9 months in a single practice, allowing you to build strong rapport and deliver real continuity of care before seamlessly moving on to your next arranged rotation.

Locations: With 65 practices across Scotland, placements are planned with practicality in mind, primarily focused in Central, East, and West Scotland.
