Halo Dental Clinic is located within walking distance of Glasgow city centre, and we now have a rare permanent opportunity for an Associate Dentist to join our team on a full-time, 4.5-day week basis (with flexibility on the exact working pattern).

You will inherit an established NHS, Private, and Plan patient list with fantastic, high-earning potential for private treatments. Halo is a busy, modern 4-surgery practice fully equipped with digital technology, including digital x-rays, rotary endo, two digital scanners, and a CBCT scanner. You’ll be supported by a brilliant, experienced nursing team and a highly collaborative group of clinicians.

🦷 Developing the Best to Deliver the Best: Day 1 of Dental Implant Nursing!
Yesterday marked an exciting milestone at the Advanced Dentistry & Clinical Skills Centre as we kicked off Day 1 of our Introduction to Dental Implant Nursing Training programme!

Led by the fantastic Jane Marie Cochrane and Julie Lyons, our dental nurses took their first steps into the world of implant dentistry. The full-day session (complete with a well-deserved lunch!) was entirely focused on building safe, precise, and patient-centred foundations.

What Day 1 Was All About:
Introduction to Dental Implants: Deep-diving into the history, benefits, and types of implants, alongside navigating jaw anatomy and bone density.

Patient Care & Communication: Mastering preoperative prep, understanding the full patient journey (FCA–Restorative), and effectively managing patient anxiety.

Sterilisation & Infection Control: Upholding the highest-standard protocols, surgical hand hygiene, PPE, and perfecting the surgical environment.
