Voice Pickers – Grocery Department – Day Shift – Bellshill

People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Voice Pickers to join a large, well-established grocery distribution centre based in Bellshill.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing full-time work, competitive rates of pay, performance incentives, and long-term opportunities within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Location: Bellshill
Department: Grocery
Shift: 06:00 – 14:00
Working Pattern: Any 5 days over 7, including weekends
Start Date: Week commencing 08.06.2026

Weekend working is required as part of the rota, with shifts allocated fairly on a rotational basis.

This role would suit applicants who have worked as a Voice Picker, Order Picker, Warehouse Operative or Picker Packer.

Rates of Pay:

First 12 weeks:
• £12.83 per hour
• Overtime: £19.25 per hour, paid after 40 hours

After 12 weeks:
• £13.65 per hour
• Overtime: £20.48 per hour, paid after 37.5 hours

Paid breaks included.

Pick Bonus:

• 30p per hour extra for achieving 90%–95% of target
• 50p per hour extra for achieving 95% and above of target

Day-to-day duties will include:

• Picking grocery stock accurately using a voice headset picking system
• Building pallets safely and correctly for store delivery
• Working towards pick-rate, accuracy, and productivity targets
• Manual handling, including lifting, bending and moving stock
• Working within a busy warehouse environment
• Following all health and safety procedures and site processes
• Supporting with general warehouse duties where required

To be considered, you must have:

• Previous voice picking experience
• Availability to work 06:00 – 14:00, any 5 days over 7 on an ongoing full-time basis
• Reliable, punctual and committed attitude
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, target-driven warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to complete and pass a drug and alcohol test before starting

Own transport would be advantageous due to the shift start time.

Training provided:

• Registration and compliance process through People Solutions
• Drug and alcohol screening completed on induction day
• Full paid site induction before starting regular shifts
• Ongoing support throughout the assignment

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, 3.5 Tonne Driver, Courier Driver, or Home Delivery Driver.

This is a fantastic permanent role offering stable Monday to Friday hours, a varied hands-on position, and the opportunity to gain additional training.

📍 Location: Bellshill
🕖 Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 approx.
💰 Salary: £28,000 per annum
📄 Contract: Permanent from day one
🚗 Driving: Local van deliveries/collections required

The role will initially involve 3 days warehouse-based and 2 days local van deliveries/collections. Over time, the position will become mainly warehouse-focused, with van driving used for holiday and sickness cover.
