Responsibilities

AK Recruitment are in the market for an experienced Counter Balance Forklift Driver in the Renfrewshire area.

We are also looking for a candidate who has experience working in a fast paced environment.

Must have up to date license and not in house.

Ideally have experience in the drinks environment and have a Bendi-truck license but neither are essential.

This is an on-going temporary placement with the possibility of permanent for the right person.

Working hours are 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday and 7.30am - 1.30pm on Fridays.

Pay rate is £12.11.

The company repairs broken pallets for one of the biggest retailers in UK.

Hours of work:

5:15am - 5:15pm based on 3on-3off rota, pay rate £12.70

Please note that drug test on site are carried out regularly.

Forklift operator responsibilities:

Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.
Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked.
Loads and unloads product from and onto tractor trailers.
Inspects the truck before and after shift
Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:

Previous warehouse experience.
Prior experience as a forklift operator.
Forklift or heavy machinery certification.
This is on going position which become permanent for the right candidate after 12 weeks.

AK Recruitment is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Worker to join one of our Client's. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling various components and products according to specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble components and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to fasten parts together.
Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Package completed products for shipment or storage.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety regulations and procedures.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and defects in assembled products, and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
Keep records of production quantities and time, and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes and increase efficiency.
Requirements:

Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Familiarity with tools and equipment used in assembly processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £14.50-£16.50 per hour
