🔧 PRESSURE TEST TECHNICIAN – NEW OPPORTUNITY 🔧

Are you an experienced Pressure Test Technician with a strong background in oilfield and drilling equipment?

We’re recruiting for a hands-on technical role covering pressure testing, inspection, repair and maintenance within a busy service environment.

🛠️ What you’ll be doing:
• Pressure and gas testing of drilling and oilfield equipment
• Dismantling, inspecting, repairing and rebuilding valves
• Assembly and testing of manufactured equipment
• Operating torque machines, overhead cranes and hoists
• Measuring and inspecting components
• Producing inspection reports, test documentation and pressure test charts
• Supporting maintenance and continuous improvement activities

🎯 What we’re looking for:
• Minimum 6 years’ pressure testing experience using various testing media
• City & Guilds Pressure Testing Technician qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• Knowledge of drill string, well control and oilfield equipment
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety, quality and safe working practices

⏰ Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:00pm | 37.5 hours
💰 Overtime + on-call earning potential

You’ll join a busy workshop team, supporting the servicing, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, including diesel-powered systems, pumps, valves and associated equipment.

🛠️ What we’re looking for:
• Previous mechanical maintenance/servicing experience
• Hands-on diesel engine experience – essential
• Experience with pressure testing, valves and fittings
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• A practical, safety-conscious approach
• Forklift certification would be advantageous, but isn’t essential

You’ll also benefit from structured training and development, overtime opportunities and the chance to build your skills within a supportive operational environment.

KBM are delighted to have taken part in YMCA Tayside’s Bear’s Big Adventure trail! 🐻

Our Copper Bear, painted by ZX81 Art, swaps fur for “riveted” metal panels, making him a truly unique sight outside the Perth Theatre and Concert Hall.

The bears will come together at Scone Palace on 12th–13th September, from 10am–4pm, giving you the chance to see the whole collection in one place before they go under the hammer.

The bears will then return to Scone Palace for the auction on 17th September and you may even decide to re-home one yourself! If so, please get in touch with YMCA Tayside.

Are you an experienced electronics professional ready to combine hands-on technical work with team leadership?

We’re recruiting an Electronics Assembly Team Leader to take ownership of day-to-day assembly and manufacturing activities within a specialist engineering environment.

You’ll be leading from the front – coordinating workloads, supporting your team and getting hands-on with electronics assembly, testing, fault finding and repairs when needed.

🔹 Lead, coach and develop an electronics assembly team
🔹 Plan workloads and keep production priorities on track
🔹 Drive improvements in quality, productivity and efficiency
🔹 Support testing, fault finding and technical problem-solving
🔹 Work closely with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain
