We had some sweltering days in June and forecasters are predicting even hotter conditions to return this month. When
it does, make sure you’re ready for it because driving in warmer weather brings its own risks, like dehydration,
increased roadworks, vehicle malfunctions, and more vehicles on the road as people head off on holiday.

Before setting off, whether car, van or HGV, don’t forget to:

Check your vehicle (tyres, brake pads & fluid)
Stay hydrated
Keep vehicle well ventilated to avoid drowsiness
Prepare for glare
Take extra care around roadworks
Make the most of your breaks
