No one is saying you have to mention WHERE you're interviewing, only share what you're comfortable with. 🤗

But telling a recruiter where you are in the process with other companies could benefit you 👀.

But I'm guessing a lot of people have a problem sharing this information...Why? 🤔❓

If you tick every box in the job description, you're probably overqualified for the job. 🤷‍♀️

You may think you're the perfect candidate for the position, but you're actually limiting yourself personally and professionally.

If there's no room for growth and development in your next role you will:

🔷 Get bored because of a lack of challenges.
🔷 Feel unstimulated on a daily basis.
🔷 Feel under utilised compared to the full extent of your experience
🔷 Feel underpaid for all the skills and knowledge you possess
🔷 Look for other opportunities soon

A job description is a wish list for the job and hiring managers know this.

One of the questions we always ask when interviewing anyone is why they're looking for a new role.

Often they answer that they're leaving because of:

🔹 No career progression
🔹 No company stability
🔹 Bad culture

But one of the most common answers is because of bad management.

Now, often there is a lot more to the story than the manager just being the "bad guy".

A productive work relationship is a two-way street at the end of the day.

But it is true that your direct manager can often make or break your experience at work.

If you have a good manager, you're very lucky.

We speak to far too many people who are living lives of quiet desperation.

"Stuck" in jobs they don't like, with people they don't get along with.

They all are just comfortable enough to not do anything about it.

But they're far from happy.

It doesn't have to be that way.

You can:

- Find fulfillment
- Earn really well
- Contribute to society
- Enjoy who you work with

You just need to be willing to do something about it.

Last week we had the opportunity to pop into Forth Valley Sensory Centre to film a video showcasing their newly refurbished Sensory Centre!

We were fortunate enough to watch a user interacting with the room and include it in the promotional video, really showing their community all that it has to offer and to encourage bookings.

It was an incredible experience and we really saw FVSC's mission in action!

It's a seriously awesome sensory room! So if you're a carer, individual or charity, they're running a free introductory session for new users, so check them out!
