Marland is a successful all age (KS1-4) special school for students with Social, Emotional and/or Mental Health (SEMH) needs. It is located across four sites; Peters Marland, Barnstaple, Central Bideford and East of the Water, Bideford. This post will be based at Marland Secondary School, Barnstaple.

You will need to be an effective communicator who is skilled at building relationships and passionate about helping young people develop socially, academically and emotionally and to include:

- Student interpersonal support skills across all ages.
- Positive relationships with, the respect of, and the ability to motivate students.
- Ability to think and present in a calm, positive, proactive, solution focussed manner at all times, even when under duress.
- Passion for working with our highly challenging but rewarding SEMH Student cohort.
- Ability to support high quality learning and/or deliver high quality learning intervention with our students.
