A great interim opportunity for an experienced Customer Advisor to work in a key role handling incoming and outgoing calls for a large public sector organisation.

As a Customer Advisor you will be handling calls associated to the arrangement of home visits, both making the appointment and answering any related questions. Many of the calls will be with more vulnerable members of the community and partner agencies, so a calm and empathetic communication style is essential.

Duties will include:

Handling calls to and from members of the public, agencies and internal colleagues to book home visits.
Fast and accurate input of data into systems and calendars.
Working as part of a team to order and prioritise workload.
Skills and experience:

A calm and confident telephone manner is essential as many of the calls will be with more vulnerable members of the community.
Fast, accurate keyboard skills.
Strong IT skills with experience of scheduling appointment and using online calendars.
This customer service role is a 2 month interim position based at the organisation's Head Office on Exeter outskirts.

Full time hours, Monday to Friday (37 hours p/w)

We are looking for a temporary Finance Assistant to join a friendly and professional team to support them during an extremely busy time. You will be covering a range of accounts duties, mainly linked to the reconciliation for aged debt to support the credit control team, and will need to have a proactive and organised approach. The role:

Reconciliations for aged debt.
Logging payments against accounts.
Preparing and sending out statements.
Drafting letters regarding late payments.
Skills and Experience:

You will be an experienced Accounts Assistant, with experience of doing accounts reconcilations either as a Finance Assistant or Credit Controller.
You will have strong IT skills including Excel.
Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
You:

This role is based in the Credit Control team, but will not involve a great deal of telephone based work and will therefore suit a candidate who enjoys process orientated work. You will be comfortable working under pressure without compromising accuracy.

This role will suit a switched on and extremely organised candidate who is available immediately for at least 3 months.

Hours -Monday to Friday 9-5.30.

Parking available on site.

As a Customer Order Processor you will join this well established business, talking to customers and processing a high volume of orders at this extremely busy time for the team. You will have great communication skills, fast and accurate keyboard skills and be in a position to consider a temporary to permanent opportunity.
The role:
• Processing a high number of customer orders via email, telephone and mail order.
• Providing first class customer service by taking accurate details of orders, processing them through the system and taking payment.
Skills and Experience:
• Ideally you will have previous customer service experience from a phone and email-based role, although retail experience will be considered.
• You must have fast and accurate keyboard skills and be able to input data as you are listening to calls.
• You will have strong organisational skills and be able to maintain and calm and professional attitude at all times.
• Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and Web literacy.
Our client is based in Newton Abbot and is looking to recruit an additional team member to join them at a time where they are seeing exciting growth.
The role will initially be on a temporary full time basis with a view to leading to a permanent opportunity with the company.
Work pattern:
Working hours (37.5 hours a week) will be scheduled between 8am and 18.30 Monday to Friday.
However, the customer service team operates Monday to Sunday 8am to 8pm and candidates will need to be flexible depending on operational needs.
This role will ideally be office based, but depending on government guidance at the time may initially be based from home. (Details of the extensive health and safety measures in the office will be shared during the recruitment process)
