Running a business and maintaining a work-life balance can be tough — there’s always that sense of guilt when you take time for yourself. But this week, I’ve finally ticked off not one, but two things from my bucket list.

To make up for that time, I’ll be starting earlier and finishing later (if possible!) over the coming days. It’s a busy but exciting week ahead with staff inductions and new client meetings in Bognor Regis, Chichester, and Portsmouth all of which I’m really looking forward to.

I genuinely love meeting new homes, understanding their staffing needs, and exploring how our team can support them.

My two favourite messages from this week 🥰

We knew from our close relationships with the supported living homes that some of the residents absolutely love Lego. After receiving two massive boxes from a friend, we asked if they might be of use we were so happy to hear they loved it and were kept super busy 😊

The second message was once again about Kim, who is quickly becoming a favourite among the residential homes. The residents truly love her, and it’s amazing to see the positive impact she’s having.

At LMSS, we feel incredibly lucky and grateful for both our staff and clients. Many of these relationships have been built over the past five years, We take pride in maintaining consistency by keeping the same staff in the same homes. This helps create strong, meaningful connections between our team and residents. This week, we’ve received some lovely feedback about how our new staff are settling into the homes we support. It’s moments like these that remind us all that the hard work and dedication we put in every day is truly making a difference. Quick coffee break was well deserved for the team 😴

Appreciation Post 🎉

Today we’re celebrating our amazing Compliance Manager and Support Worker, Kimberley on her birthday.

I can honestly say that LMSS wouldn’t run the way it does without her. From ensuring every staff member is fully compliant, to staying on top of rules and regulations.

Kim goes above and beyond in everything she does. What makes her even more special is that she still goes into homes to support where she can because care is what she truly loves and does best.
