Maris Subsea is a leading supplier of High Quality, Specialist, Subsea-oriented Personnel to Energy markets Worldwide. We specialise in the supply of Client Reps, ROV, Hydrographic Survey and 3.4u Inspection Personnel.

This is a great opportunity for someone to be part of successful and fast-growing business.

We are looking for an additional Business Support Administrator to be based in our office in Forres.

We are looking for someone who can start at the beginning of January, ideally the week beginning the 5th of January.

This is a full-time role 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday but we could give some degree of flexibility on the working hours within reason

Salary will be based on experience, and we do give yearly performance-based bonus.

Full training will be given.

Main Tasks
• Formatting candidate CVs
• Uploading candidate certificates to recruitment database (maintaining the database)
• Sending out candidate paperwork including contracts
• Maintaining compliance on the database
• Carrying out Check Employment Status for Tax (CEST) determinations on behalf of the recruiter
• Inputting Payroll
• Raising Purchase Orders
• Sales Invoicing
• Communicating with the accounts team based in Aberdeen
• Assisting the recruiters as and when required

Skills
• Professional, confident and friendly telephone manner
• Must have at last 2 years’ experience of working in an office environment
• Must also have experience of using a database
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Demonstrate strong administrative, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Eye for detail and accuracy
• Work well under pressure
• Work cooperatively and independently

Maris are looking to recruit another local Recruiter to our survey team at around the beginning of February.

Maris Subsea is a leading supplier of High Quality, Specialist, Subsea-oriented Personnel to Energy markets Worldwide. We specialise in the supply of Client Reps, ROV, Hydrographic Survey and 3.4u Inspection Personnel.

We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to work in our Forres office with occasional trips to our head office in Aberdeen and to meet clients which are mainly based in Aberdeen.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing candidates for temporary or contract roles.

As many of our candidates are located around the world it is essential that the successful person for this role is very confident on the telephone and can speak to people from different nationalities and backgrounds.

This is a great opportunity for someone to be part of successful and fast-growing business. Recruitment experience is an advantage but it’s not essential. You need to have an outgoing personality though and be able to build strong relationships with clients and candidates.

This role is full time working 5 days a week (with a possible degree of flexibility on hours for the right person) in our office based in Forres.

Salary will be based on experience, and we do give yearly performance-based bonus.

Essential Technical Knowledge:

**BUSINESS SUPPORT ADMIN REQUIRED - FORRES**

The Maris Subsea team is expanding again so we are looking for a permanent Business Support Administrator to be based in our office in Forres but must be flexible about going to work in our Dyce Office when required.

This is a full time role, 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday (we work in office Mon - Thur and from home on a Friday but office is available on a Friday if that was preferable)

Must have good attention to detail, be confident on the phone and quite happy to speak to candidates when required and be competent using Word and Excel and have experience with maintaining a database.

Tasks & Responsibilities
• Ensure Business administrative duties are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure that the resource database is maintained and updated on a daily basis.
• Receive requests for typed documentation including updated and new CVs, Personal Details Forms, and Bank Details etc., from the Recruitment Team and ensure timely and efficient production and completion of said documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers, Recruitment Teams, Management and Assignees to ensure smooth operation of Business Unit.
• Storing Purchase Orders and approving invoices for payment
• Checking candidate timesheets and expense forms for accuracy
• Input and checking of received certification from Assignees including passports, medicals, offshore survivals etc. This will require verification with Recruitment Team
• Input and checking of database Employee records to ensure completion of all relevant documentation required for Assignee to carry out work tasks.
• Maintain and operate clerical and administrative support systems, including registration of Assignees.
• Liaison with Business(s) Recruitment Teams to obtain required information and resolve queries.
•Attend Monthly Team Meetings and other Team, Business Unit or wider meetings as/when required. This may require the taking down and circulation of minutes as required.
•Booking travel, accommodation, COVID tests etc.
•Provide general assistance in handling telephone calls
• Complete any other business-critical duties as requested and agreed.

This full-time permanent role calls for a strong administrator to provide administrative support to a busy Recruitment Team including:
• Formatting CVs to a high standard for submitting to Clients
• Maintain and update the Candidate database as required, ensuring that information held is accurate and correct
• Assist with preparing and processing timesheets and expense claims
• Calling candidates and updating their availability for work
• Generating contracts
• Verifying Certificates
• Booking travel

Ideally the successful applicant will have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, together with excellent attention to detail and the enthusiasm to learn and be part of a successful team. The Marine Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of marine activities including cargo, ballast, mooring and lifting operations, security of watertight compartments, supervision of heading control tugs and first line maintenance of all cargo equipment.
