we are currently recruiting class 2 HI-AB drivers to work alongside one of the leading companies in the builders merchant industry.
A class 2 HIAB driver required to work at busy builders merchants based in Egham . Duties to include delivery of building materials with the use of a HIAB crane to commercial and domestic addresses in and around the local area.
This is ongoing work with the oppurtunity to go permanent if job suits you and the client.
Experience would help but training is offered on site.
Good understanding of English is crucial as you will be representing client with customers.
To be successful for the position you will need the following:
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Valid UK HGV class 2 Licence
• In date accredited HIAB certificate
• Digi card
• CPC

HGV2 DRIVERS REQUIRED FOR ADR ROLES WITH IMMEDIATE STARTS

PAY:
Days-£14.50ph

Our client is a well-known company based in Hounslow within the transportatation and logistics industry requiring drivers for HGV2 ADR roles.

The position is an on-going contract.
Please see below full specifiaction for the job:
Deliveries of roofing product in the south east of England, generally speaking inside M25
Kerbside delivery to roofing merchants, Selcos etc – largely FLT locations but some tail lift deliveries
Average delivery size – 1-2plts per delivery; 8 drops per day (double tripping is likely)

Manual handling of loose roof trims from stillage on bed of vehicle through tail lift at delivery points (max 30kg 3m long trim)

Class II HGV and full ADR qualification licence qualification as a minimum

Start time indicatively 0600 however given customer requirements the start time may be earlier or later

Adherence to all mandatory PPE requirements
Vehicle walk round checks and ensure at all times they remain fully compliant and operate vehicles legally and in accordance with safe systems of work
Adherence to all site rules, requirements and processes and paperwork
Timely pro-active communication of delivery problems and appropriate ETAs
Immediate communication and escalation of any incident on the road or whilst at a delivery point
Capturing e-POD for delivery on handheld devices
