Are you an experienced Production Operative?
Staff Buddy are recruiting for Production Operatives to join our client on a permanent basis located in Cupar, Fife.
Currently the hours of work are 4 days a week between Monday to Friday working 12 hour shifts (8am-8pm). This is likely to change in the near future to include some weekend hours too.£10.50 per hour = £21,840 per year.
Guaranteed 40 hours per week with overtime available at the same hourly rate of £10.50 per hour.
Production Line Operator (including Material Mixing, Bagging and Quality Analysis)The role of Production Line Operator is key to the smooth running of the production line and working with the rest of the staff to make this happen.
You will be expected to undertake the following duties:
- Prepare, store, monitor and analyse product keeping samples, liaising with external bodies as required.
- Conduct pre and postproduction stock checks and report. Pick and distribute customer orders as required.
- Monitor, record and report production quality performance.
- Monitoring defects and ensuring that product packed, meets or exceeds agreed product specifications.
- Analyse product tolerances to understand vital variables including product moisture, bulk density, dimensions, defects and expansion for example.
- Ensure ingredients are stored as per sound manufacturing principles, managing stock rotation and high stock check accuracy.
- Deliver local orders as required.
- Conduct factory metal detector checks and fault finding as per Company schedule.
- Expand (cook) product as required, including customer samples, evaluate expansion during product life and evaluate expansion during production.
- Assist Production Line Operators, QA Operatives and Extrusion Operator as required to ensure business targets are achieved.
- Conduct shelf-life analysis to ensure the finished product is performing as per agreed customer specification. Involve external lab analysis as required.
- Ensure accurate recording and collation of production and quality documentation/paperwork.

- Supervise, mentor, support and train colleagues to achieve team and business targets.
