Opportunity in Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire – General Warehouse / Production Operative

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join a busy production and warehouse team based in Thorne.
Working hours:

Monday to Thursday – Afternoon shift
12:00 – 23:00 (40 hours per week)

£12.21

This role involves working within a production environment and supporting the manufacturing process.

Duties may include:
Operating machinery used in the production process
Quality checking finished products (QC)
Handling and moving materials within the warehouse
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Supporting the wider production team when required
This is a temp to perm position, with the opportunity for a permanent contract after 12 weeks for the right candidate.

Internal Sales

Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Monday-Friday : 8-4 (Friday finish 3:30)

Main Duties:
Manage deadlines and liaise with various departments to ensure timely delivery of orders while managing customer expectations.
Process and register sales orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and issue all relevant sales documentation and paperwork.
Handle and manage customer claims, ensuring timely resolution.
Respond to customer and sales representative enquiries via phone and email (order status, stock queries, claims, etc.).
Monitor and internally follow up on customer orders through to dispatch, including back orders.
Coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, purchasing, dispatch, sales representatives) to provide accurate updates on order status, shipments, delivery times, and supply options.
Prepare customer service and sales reports as required.
