🚨 Incursions on Live Highway Schemes – Why Reporting & Prevention Matter 🚨

Across live highway works, incursions remain one of the most serious risks to workforce and public safety.

At Chellan Highway Safety Services Ltd, we are currently recording around 40 incursions per week across 120 live CCTV cameras on various schemes. Every single one of these events represents a potential near-miss.....or worse.

we are looking for 4 guys/ladies with CSCS, Highways Passport and SC Medical. D&A Test will be carried out by the client upon induction. The role is for around 4 weeks but may lead to more work.This role is to assist with the maintainence of critical CCTV on the network. It would be ideal if you are in travelling distance of either Farningham or Egham.

Job description

Chellan HSS Ltd are looking to recruit CCTV Response coordinators to monitor roadworks in various locations in the West Midlands and South Yorkshire.

The camera room will be based on the outskirts of Goole. Own transport is essential for this reason.

The role involves spotting breakdowns, accidents etc. that have taken place in the roadworks, liaising with National Highways, and dispatching the relevant recovery trucks/emergency services to the incidents.

A keen eye and good organisational and communication skills are required for this role.

You will be working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, each shift lasting 12 hours, alternating days/nights. this is a 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year operation. Any bank holidays worked are paid at time and a half and Christmas day is double time.

No experience is required but would be an advantage in your application.

A National Highways Passport course will need to be completed at our expense before employment commences as well as a basic DBS check.

Chellan HSS Ltd operate a strict Drugs and Alcohol policy. You will be tested prior to commencement of the contract and at random intervals during the duration of the role.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £144.00 per day
