I'm currently supporting a client with recruiting for a Maintenance Technician, based at their head office in Eye, Suffolk. The Maintenance Technician will join a dynamic team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities include:
→ Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), inspections, and testing of plant equipment.
→ Accurately record all maintenance activities using the planned maintenance system.
→ Follow and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and manufacturer guidelines.
→ Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
→ Assist with plant start-up and shutdown procedures when required.
→ Collaborate with production and plant supervisors, ensuring rapid response to breakdowns.
→ Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults across a range of plant machinery and equipment.
→ Participate in fire safety and emergency procedures.
→ Remain flexible for call-outs, overtime, and shutdown cover.

📅 Hours: Working an alternative 7-day shift pattern, each shift will be 12-hours, 6.00am - 6.00pm averaging a 42-hour week.
