Purpose of role and key accountabilities:

Purpose:

Gardner Aerospace (โ€œGardnerโ€) is a global leader in aerospace manufacturing, serving OEM customers such as Airbus, along with key tier one aerostructure suppliers like GKN & Mubea. Gardner machines, fabricates treats and assembles metallic components parts and sub-assemblies from hard and soft metals in a range of sizes from small to very large, long bed components, all from its international facilities in Europe & Asia.

Gardner is looking for an individual to join its commercial function on a full-time basis. Your role will be that of Contracts & Commercial Officer with the objective of ensuring that Gardnerโ€™s internal contract functions and processes are maintained, whilst at the same time ensuring that Gardner remains contractually competitive within the marketplace.

The commercial function form part of Gardnerโ€™s global shared services. The function is responsible for providing contract support to the business development, sales, sourcing and capital projects functions as well as acting as a point of interface for contract support and management of associated documents.

Key Duties:

Non-Disclosure Agreements

* To review, in a timely fashion, incoming NDAโ€™s from customers and other parties and to provide, where appropriate, counter mark ups and wording amendments and support in the closure and agreement of the same.

* To review any changes proposed by suppliers to Gardnerโ€™s standard NDA template and support in the closure and agreement of the same.

* To obtain internal sign off electronically with e-sign functions.

* To maintain Gardnerโ€™s NDA template to ensure it evolves with any business changes and / or legislative changes.

New Business Proposals:

* To review and understand the key commercial conditions of the relevant RFP, including any contractual documents and framework.

* To work through and review such documents and ensure an appropriate response, including mark-up etc, is put together to support the RFP bid response, working alongside other members of the bid team and colleagues where required.

* To ensure that any relevant contract supplementary documents are reviewed and / or completed by relevant departmental colleagues.

* Collaborate with sales/account manager to develop contract strategies that enhance the company's competitive advantage.

* To play a lead role in communication with the relevant customers and internally as part of the RFP process with regards to the contract, its mark up and potential negotiation through to award.

Contract Renewals / Amendments

* To review contract renewals documents and / or amendments to ensure that they are executed correctly and capture the correct detail, particularly in relation to item prices, durations and lead times.

* To manage any contract changes and ensure they are understood and reviewed by relevant business stakeholders.

Sourcing & Supplier Contracts:

* To support in the management of existing supplier contracts, including amendments and renewals and claim / dispute resolution.

* To create where required new contract templates in support of strategic sourcing tenders and play a lead role in any subsequent negotiation through to award.

* Ensuring that customer flow down terms are incorporated into supplier contracts as required.

Contracts Management:

* Develop clear and concise contract summaries that highlight key terms, obligations, and risks for internal stakeholders.

* Ensure summaries simplify complex legal language.

* Distribute summaries using SharePoint contract sign off tool to relevant directors and executives.

* Update and distribute summaries as contracts evolve to ensure stakeholders remain informed.

* Manage the contracts register for NDA, customer contracts, supplier contracts and capital projects.

* Ensure all documents are accurately categorised, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

* Implement version control protocols to track changes, amendments, and contract renewals.

* Provide training and support to internal teams on effective use of the SharePoint database for contract management.

* Draft formal communications addressing a range of contract-related issues, including claims, amendments, contract terminations, and clarifications.

Commercial Analysis:

* To support, where required, in the preparation of various data analysis for existing contracts.

* Analyse data in the event of a claim from suppliers or customers.

* Support commercial analyst on renewal pricing for supplier and customers.

General Terms & Conditions:

* To assist in ensuring that the businesses standard terms and conditions of sale and purchase are maintained and reflect both industry and regulatory changes and, in the case of purchase terms and conditions, to ensure that the terms are inclusive and kept up to date with major customer flow down requirements.

Internal Audits:

* To ensure compliance with internal standards.

* Regular and sometimes spot audits at the business units to ensure compliance with internal standards.

Salary: Up to ยฃ60,000 (depending on experience)

Are you a Registered Manager looking for your next opportunity, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the step up into Registered Management? Weโ€™re working with an established and reputable provider to recruit a Registered Manager for a currently GOOD-rated residential home in Mickleover, Derby.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a stable team in a home that is transitioning from a 2-bed EBD registration to supporting children with Complex Needs and Mental Health presentations. A full staff team and Deputy Manager are already in place to support you.

About the Home:

Currently a 2-bed EBD home, rated GOOD with Ofsted

Variation submitted to transition to a Complex Needs/Mental Health service

Full team in place, including an experienced Deputy

Operated by a child-focused, forward-thinking provider

Who Weโ€™re Looking For:

โœ” Experienced Registered Manager or a Deputy Manager ready to step up

โœ” Experience working with or confidence to manage a service for children with complex needs or mental health

โœ” Strong leadership, safeguarding and compliance knowledge

โœ” Someone who leads from the front and builds strong, positive team culture

โœ” Commitment to achieving Outstanding outcomes for children
