💙 What a Wonderful Carers Week 💙

As Carers Week comes to a close, we’d like to thank our amazing team for making it such a special week.

At Radfield Home Care, we celebrate and appreciate our carers throughout the year, but Carers Week gives us an extra special opportunity to recognise the incredible difference they make every day and to say a heartfelt thank you for all that they do.

It has been lovely catching up with carers throughout the week, sharing plenty of smiles, and taking the opportunity to show just how much they mean to us. As a small token of our appreciation, each carer received a goodie bag filled with relaxing treats and thoughtful items to encourage them to take some well-deserved time for themselves. As we can see by the pictures, Our Field Care Supervisor, Karen, couldnt wait to get her goodie bag open and start using the items.

Our carers are at the heart of everything we do, and it was important to us that they felt recognised and valued during this year’s Carers Week celebrations.

We've loved seeing everyone collect their goodies, stop for a chat and enjoy a well-earned moment for themselves amongst their busy schedules.

A huge thank you to our fantastic team for everything you bring to Radfield Home Care. We hope you've enjoyed your week as much as we've enjoyed celebrating you.

💚 Celebrating Carers Week at Radfield Day Centre💚

Today we spent time reflecting on the caring people in our lives and showing our appreciation for everything they do. Together, we created beautiful hanging paper vases as a symbol of gratitude and recognition for those who care for us every day.

Our day was filled with fun and laughter as we enjoyed a quiz, baked some delicious raisin shortbread, relaxed with a yoga session, and finished with a wonderful sing-along. 🎶🧘‍♀️🍪

A heartfelt thank you to all carers and caring people everywhere. Your kindness, compassion, patience, and dedication make such a difference to the lives of others every single day. We truly appreciate everything you do. 💙

Mud, obstacles, determination... and a fantastic cause! 💗🏃‍♀️

On Saturday, our Recruitment & Training Manager, Amanda, and her daughter Chloe took on the Cancer Research UK Pretty Muddy® 5K at Markeaton Park.

Together, they climbed, crawled, slid, and laughed their way around the course, all in support of a charity that is very close to their hearts. Thanks to the incredible generosity of family, friends, colleagues and supporters, they raised an amazing £450 for Cancer Research UK. 💖

We're incredibly proud of both Amanda and Chloe for taking on the challenge and helping to raise funds for such an important cause.

Looking at some of the obstacles and muddy slides, it's probably a good job Amanda is our Basic Life Support trainer — although thankfully no emergency CPR skills were required on the day! 😂

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported them. Every pound raised helps fund vital research and brings us one step closer to beating cancer.

Well done Amanda and Chloe — you've done yourselves proud! 💙
