We are seeking several dedicated Warehouse Operatives to join our client based in Darlington.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming pallets. Being able to organise and work in a fast-paced environment is key! You will also ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse environment.

Shifts:

We are recruiting for the following shifts. Being
5.00am until finish, approx 6-8 hours per shift, depending on business needs.

9.00am until Finish, approx 6-8 hours per shift, depending on business needs.

2.00pm until Finish, approx 6-8 hours per shift, depending on business needs.

4.00pm until Finish, approx 6-8 hours per shift, depending on business needs.

8.00pm until Finish, approx 6-8 hours per shift, depending on business needs.

Pay rate is £14.58 per hour, paid weekly on a Friday.

£18.23 per hour for any hours worked after 10pm.

5 days over 7, which includes working some weekends, 2 weekends in, 1 weekend off rota.

Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming Pallets
- Organise and maintain inventory in the warehouse
- Perform quality control checks on incoming pallets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pump trucks.
- Always follow health and safety guidelines
- Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
- Forklift certification is a plus

Production Operative
📍 Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
⏰ 7.30am until 4.30pm, 40 hours per week, Mon to Fri, early finish at 2pm on a Friday.
💷 £12.90 per hour, paid weekly.

This is a temporary role for a 12-week period, with the possibility to go permanent, and you will need to drive to get to this location.

As a Production Operative, you will be a vital part of the manufacturing team, involved in the assembly, testing, and quality control of beer pumps and drink dispensers. This hands-on role requires a high level of attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining high production and safety standards. You will also be required to lift parts which can way up to 25kg per item.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble components of beer pumps and drink dispensers.
• Operate machinery, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
• Perform basic testing and calibration of units before final packaging.
• Pack and label finished products for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Report any faults, defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments.

Skills & Experience Required:
• Fork Lift Truck Licence (Counterbalance).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to use basic computer systems for stock booking and record-keeping
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production setting
