A period property brought back to life in St Bernards Crescent. ✨

Careful preparation of the walls, cornices and extensive woodwork was essential to achieve the high standard of finish this beautiful home deserved, while remaining sympathetic to its original period features.

We also incorporated luxury wallpaper installation, where precision was key, from meticulous cutting to exact pattern matching, every detail was considered.

For the finishing touches, we selected premium paints from , and , chosen to complement the traditional architecture and refined design of the property.

Hermitage Drive: Part Two. 🖌️

The landing stairs were completely redecorated, using Farrow & Ball all-white 2005 paint for the ceiling, cornice and woodwork, and a The Little Greene Paint Company Joanna 130 for the walls.

We left a natural finish on the bannister, keeping the timber look to tie together this area of the home.

Another completed project: St Teresa Place. ✅

A recently completed exterior decorating project, carried out with cherry picker access to safely and efficiently complete all required high-level works.

The project included the preparation and redecoration of communal windows, fascia boards, soffits, garage doors, garage fascia and railings. A combination of Dulux Bare Preservative Primer, Ultimate Opaque, Zinc Phosphate Primer and Metalshield was specified to provide the appropriate protection and finish across the various timber and metal surfaces.

Hermitage Drive: Part One. 🎨

We recently had the pleasure of transforming this stunning property, carrying out a complete redecoration throughout the home. From carefully prepared surfaces and flawless paint finishes to the finer decorative details, the team at Thistle Decorators refreshed every room.

Featured here is the bespoke walk-in wardrobe connected to the master bedroom. This space was meticulously finished, with attention given to every detail. From precision painting of the cabinetry and woodwork to the expert installation of wallpaper, creating a luxurious and elegant finish that complements the overall design of the home.

Using Farrow & Ball all white for the ceiling, cornice and woodwork, with peignoir on the walls. Finished with the stunning wallpaper from Artewalls in Flamant Les Units.

Another completed project: Barbour, Frederick Street. ✅

We were brought onto this project alongside the team at Viking Wood Ltd, who carried out the timber replacement, restoring the woodwork to an even better condition.

Our team focused on the masonry, stripping back areas where needed and remoulding the building’s edges to bring the original details back to life. We then refreshed the paintwork using Dulux Uniprimer and Diamond Exterior Satinwood, with Ardenbrite Sovereign Gold used for the hand-painted lettering on the front of the store.

A great project from start to finish, and one that has brought the building back to its best. We’re delighted with the final finish and proud to see the transformation complete.
