At Stark Agency Ltd we are Scotland's largest wedding show organiser. With 30 events every year covering the whole of Scotland from Aberdeen right down to the Borders.

We host events to help couples plan their dream wedding.
Bring wedding suppliers covering all categories together with couples.

Job Roles open right now -

Sales -

We are looking for someone to sell event space for our events.
No experience necessary.
What we are looking for -
Someone aged 30 +
Living in Cumnock or 10 mile surrounding area.
Friendly
Confident on the phone (so previous phone work helpful)
Sales experience a bonus
Good with Microsoft and social media
Presentable
Efficient and able to work well on own
Hours are Monday/Friday 9.30 am - 15.30 pm
We pay national living wage and bonus.
Bonus can range from £100 - £1000 per month depending on area and targets reached.
28 days holiday
Additional work at our events as and when required which involves helping behind the catwalk and at the desk.

Second role -

Part Time Social Media Trainee

We are looking for someone around age 16/20 to work from our office in Cumnock three days per week from 10 am - 15.00 pm.
Days can be negotiated.
You will help to cover our social media pages.
Working on content for our wedding shows.
Writing content, sharing posts and reels.
No experience necessary as full training will be given.
National minimum wage based on age paid for this person.

Ideally with great administration and social media skills.
Person must be able to manage multi tasking well.
Available to work weekends at events.

We have an opportunity for a mentor coordinator @ 24 hours per week funded by the The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland Young Start Fund. Three year contract.

Job Title Youth Connects Coordinator
Location yipworld, 19 Barrhill Road, CUMNOCK
Reports to Chief Executive and Board of Directors
Salary Scale £26990.60 pro rota (£18495.36)
Hours 24 hours per week including Saturday/Sunday/evenings as required

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude; a sound understanding of the needs of young people. Be prepared to work at least two to three evenings and at times weekends and have excellent presentation skills including writing, listening, communication and negotiation.

The interview will consist of a Power Point presentation and interview panel.

Training will be provided as part of the post.

yipworld have 10 spaces available for anyone age 16 - 24 for a 3 month programme funded by East Ayrshire Local Employabilty Partnership.

It will be a 3 month programme of 10 hours per week with a £55 weekly training allowance.
