KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Picker and Packer for our client based in Congleton.
As a Picker and Packer your working hours and days are:
* Monday- Friday
* 08:00- 16:00
The rate of pay as a Picker and Packer is:
* £12.71 p/h
The duties and responsibilities as a Picker and Packer are:
* Pick customer orders accurately using handheld scanning devices
* Pack products securely and correctly for dispatch
* Load, unload, move and store stock within the warehouse
* Handle and transport wallpaper, paste, decorating equipment, and related products
* Carry out stock checks and assist with inventory control when required
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Follow all company procedures, health and safety regulations, and warehouse standards
* Assist with goods-in and goods-out processes
* Report damaged stock, equipment faults, or safety concerns to management
The ideal candidate for a Picker and Packer would require:
* Ability to perform manual handling duties throughout the working day
* Regular lifting and moving of items weighing up to 25kg
* Ability to stand, walk, bend and carry products for extended periods
* Previous warehouse, picking, packing or logistics experience (preferred)
* Experience using handheld scanners or willingness to learn
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work well individually or in a team environment
* Experience handling decorating supplies, wallpaper, paste or similar products
* Basic understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
Working conditions as a Picker and Packer are:
* Warehouse based role
* May require overtime during busy periods
* PPE must be worn where required
