We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our tight-knit team. Working as a Warehouse / FLT Operative, you will be working across a variety of tasks throughout the day, making this the perfect fit if you enjoy a role with plenty of split duties.

Details about the role as a Warehouse / FLT Operative:

* Pay: £12.71 per hour

* Days: 5 out of 7 per week

* Hours: 07:30- 15:30 or 08:00- 16:00

What you'll be doing day-to-day as a Warehouse/ FLT Operative:

* On the Forklift: Safely and efficiently operating FLTs to move stock, stack pallets, and load/unload incoming and outgoing vehicles

* Hands-on Work: Getting stuck into the physical side of things-manually unloading containers (handballing), picking, packing, and palletising orders

* Logistics Support: Handling goods-in and goods-out duties to ensure everything is documented and where it needs to be

* Teamwork: Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe, while supporting your teammates during busy period

What we're looking for in a Warehouse/ FLT Operative:

* FLT Experience: You must hold a valid Forklift Truck licence and feel completely confident operating one in a busy environment

* A Hardworking Attitude: You don't mind rolling up your sleeves. Handballing containers is physical work, so you need to be comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling

* Pace & Accuracy: You can work quickly but carefully, keeping safety at the forefront of everything you do

* Reliability: You show up on time, take pride in your work, and bring a positive, team-player attitude every day
* Transport: own transport will be needed due to location

The hours and days as a Forklift Counterbalance Driver are:

* 5 out of 7 days
* 06:00- 14:00, 14:00- 22:00, 22:00- 06:00 (Rotating Shift)

The rate of pay as a Forklift Counterbalance Driver is:

* £12.71 p/h (£15.06 p/h after probation period)

The duties and responsibilities as a Forklift Counterbalance Driver:

* Offload incoming delivery vehicles containing raw plastics, inks, films, and cores safely
* Feed fast-paced flexographic printing presses and slitting machinery with heavy master reels and raw materials exactly when needed
* Collect completed, palletised packaging goods from production areas and transport them safely to the warehouse
* Put away palleted goods into high-bay racking systems utilizing your Reach Truck License
* Load outbound heavy goods vehicle (HGVs) according to strict delivery schedules
* Perform manual stock checks and update our inventory management tracking systems
* Secure and wrap finished goods manually or using automated wrapping machinery
* Inspect incoming pallets for damage and maintain a spotless, hazard-free warehouse environment
* Assist production operators with manual handling tasks during machinery changeovers when required

The ideal candidate for a Forklift Counterbalance Driver would need:

* Counterbalance Licence (required)
* Previous experience operating an FLT in a warehouse environment
* Strong attendance record and timekeeping
* Ability to work well individually or in a team environment

The duties and responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative are:

* Order picking- assemble and complete retail orders accurately and quickly using pick-by-voice or scanning systems
* Loading & Dispatch- move bakery stock safely from warehouse storage to dispatch lanes, loading HGV's and delivery vehicles
* Quality & Freshness- inspect incoming stock, check date codes and flag any damaged items to ensure only the highest quality products reach shelves
* Hygiene standards- follow all site safety protocols, safely operating warehouse equipment and working responsibly within a busy, rolling team

The ideal candidate for a Warehouse Operative would need:

* Physical Fitness- hands on environment, physically demanding role, working on your feet for long hours, lifting and moving bread baskets and equipment
* Reliability & Flexibility- comfortable working regular night shifts and weekends
* Previous experience in a warehouse, picking or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) not essential
* Training is provided
* Teamwork- a proactive, down-to-earth attitude with a pride in getting the job done right

The working hours and days as a Food Production Operative are:

* Monday- Sunday
* 16:00- 02:00
* 5 days out of 7 per week

The rate of pay as a Food Production Operative is:

* £12.71 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Food Production Operative are:

* Removing large cheese blocks from cardboard boxes or plastic crates
* Checking cheese blocks for damage, foreign objects, or plastic contamination (e.g. plastic or cardboard debris) before processing
* Placing unwrapped cheese blocks onto conveyor belts or into knockout machinery for further processing
* Manually lifting and handling cheese blocks (typically 20-30kg) and feeding them into the production line
* Removing and recycling cardboard and plastic waste generated during the de-boxing process
* Breaking down cardboard and disposing of plastic liner waste appropriately
* Recording raw material usage and returning pallets to storage areas
* Maintaining a clean work environment and ensuring machinery and infeed areas are properly sanitised

The ideal candidate for a Food Production Operative would need:

* Ability to safely and consistently lift heavy items (20-30kg)
* Must be comfortable working in hot environments, which can reach up to 40°C
* Ensuring all packaging is fully removed to prevent contamination
* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and keep production lines running smoothly
* Must be comfortable working in a chilled environment
* Available to work 4 shifts per week (16:00- 02:00)
* A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is essential due to the rural location of the site
* Willingness to support colleagues and follow instructions
* Prior experience working in Food Production is desirable but not essential
* Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Additional information needed as a Food Production Operative is:

* Ensure all walkways both In and out of the building are adhered too
* Smoking / va**ng is only permitted in the designated smoking areas
* Arrive at the canteen in full PPE ensuring that is warn at all times
* No headphones to be worn on the production line or around the building
* No jewellery to be worn on the production line
* Hair to be clean and tied away from the face
* No heavy makeup / false eyelashes / false nails
