We are looking for a reliable and skilled Workshop Mechanic to join our busy and growing workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. This role suits a hands-on mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.
The Workshop Mechanic will carry out routine servicing, fault finding, and mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension, clutches, and general engine work. You will be expected to use diagnostic equipment, follow manufacturer procedures, maintain accurate job records, and keep the workshop clean and organised. Working closely with colleagues, you will help ensure vehicles are returned to customers in a safe and roadworthy condition.
We are offering a competitive salary of £35,000–£40,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have proven workshop experience, strong mechanical knowledge, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
