Leah’s journey with Almac began before graduation, when she joined us as a placement student in 2024. After completing her degree in biomedical science, she returned as a technical specialist.

Grace Rogan studied biomedical science at Queens University, Belfast and completed a MSc in Biomedical Engineering at Ulster University. She now works as a technical specialist in the packaging operations department of Almac Pharma Services.

Dr Frances Weldon, Associate Director - STEM Outreach, and Conor Long, Associate Director – Manufacturing Science & Technology at Almac Pharma Services, were pleased to attend Queen's University Belfast School of Pharmacy’s 2026 Postgraduate Research (PGR) Away Day.

The event brought together PhD researchers from across the School to present their work, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration across a range of research disciplines. As part of the programme, Conor delivered a presentation and was delighted to present a prize to Beth Mullan for her poster presentation on her research project.
