💷 £12.21 per hour starting pay rate
⏰ Immediate start, permanent, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

The role:
✅General admin duties – PODs & Reports
✅Adding correct charge rates to system
✅Communicating with drivers
✅Ensuring all orders are on the system will all information inputted correctly
✅Supplying excellent levels of customer service

What we are looking for:
✅Must have good computer skills (Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel etc.)
✅Proven administrator experience is required for this role
✅Transport experience is ideal but not essential
✅Must have excellent communication skills
✅Must work well with others and as an individual

The role:
✅Requirement to be able to read technical drawingsrequired inspections
✅Ability to work on own initiative
✅Be able to use measuring equipment in line with job requirements, e.g. Micrometre, Vernier, shadowgraph and gap/under head gauge
✅Complete paperwork applicable to product
✅Ability to verify that each process has been completed correctly and operations booked
✅Use Syteline system to competently record conformance/non-conformance parts
✅Lifting required up to a weight of 15KGs
✅Be able to identify priority batches for sorting

Requirements:
✅Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering environment
✅Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications and use relevant measuring equipment

⏰ Monday to Thursday: 10:30pm 5.30am (with a 30-minute lunch break) and Friday 13:30pm – 20:30pm (with a 20-minute lunch break)

The role:

The role:
✅Ensure optimum efficiency / effectiveness of overall transport operations
✅Ensure all vehicles are maintained in accordance with relevant legislation
✅Ensure all VOSA records are accurately kept
✅Keep abreast of all current and pending legislation relevant to this position
✅Driver Management – first point of contact
✅Ensure a safe working environment
✅Ensure all vehicles and drivers are correctly noted on insurance schedule
✅Actively work to reduce need for use of agency drivers. Liaising with agencies and management of agency costs – Ensure all agency drivers are fully inducted and meet insurance requirements
✅Manage the transport operations team ensuring effective leadership and development of employees to meet business requirements
✅Assist General Manager with recruitment of individuals to the department.
✅Complete annual performance review (appraisal). Be ready to take action where there is persistent under-performance.
✅Ensure that the interior and exterior of the site portrays a professional Company image and safe environment for employees and visitors to site
✅In conjunction with the General Manager manage the ‘people’ issues at the site, to include holiday planning, absence management (in line with the Company Absence Management Procedure) return to work interviews day-to-day performance issues. Selection and Recruitment in line with Company guidelines and introduce and adhere to robust induction processes.
✅Coach, develop and train all staff associated with the transport operation ensuring that the team is provided with clear performance standards and is motivated to meet set targets

Requirements:
✅Transport Management CPC.
✅Must have excellent communication skills.
✅Must work well with others and as an individual.
✅Minimum 2 years transport Management Experience.
