Junior Pawject Manager
Meet Otis, the newest four-legged member of the Top Job team, who joined us in 2026 as our Junior Pawject Manager.

Working closely alongside Bertie, our experienced Barketing Manager and all-round good boy, Otis is learning everything there is to know about life at Top Job. From keeping a watchful eye on the office to greeting the team and making sure morale stays high, he has already settled comfortably into his new role.

As the junior member of our canine department, Otis still has plenty to learn, but with Bertie showing him the ropes, he couldn't have asked for a better mentor. He brings plenty of enthusiasm to the office and takes his responsibilities very seriously – particularly when they involve treats, attention or a well-earned nap.

Otis is quickly becoming a much-loved member of the Top Job family, and we're looking forward to watching him grow into his role. With Bertie by his side, we're confident our newest recruit has a very promising career ahead of him.

A good excuse to give some appreciation to the dogs of Top Job — Bertie and Otis!

Bertie has office life pretty much nailed, while Otis is still learning the ropes. Watching him grow from a tiny puppy into an office dog has been fun to say the least… with a few challenges along the way 😅

They definitely bring plenty of personality to the office and keep us all on our toes!

🚧 Freelance Site Manager Opportunity | Summer Contract 🚧

We're recruiting on behalf of a privately owned contractor for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a 6-week school maintenance project during the summer holidays.

📍 The Role
You'll be managing works including:
✔️ Asbestos removal
✔️ Installation of new windows
✔️ Installation of new doors across existing school buildings

🔨 Key Responsibilities
• Supervising all trades on site
• Managing subcontractors with a strong focus on health & safety
• Completing RAMS, timesheets, and progress reports
• Maintaining site diaries
• Delivering site inductions and toolbox talks

✅ Essential Requirements
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• Valid DBS clearance
• First Aid certificate
• CSCS card (beneficial but not essential)

We're working with a well-established engineering manufacturer that's looking to add an experienced Welder/Fabricator to their growing production team.

📍 Location: Near Wickhambrook, Suffolk (commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill & Newmarket)
💰 Pay: £14.50–£15.80 per hour (DOE)
🕗 Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:00am–5:00pm

Whether you're looking for a permanent position or a temp-to-perm opportunity, this could be a fantastic next step.

🔧 We're looking for someone with:

✔️ Proven MIG welding experience
✔️ Ability to read engineering drawings
✔️ Experience fabricating sheet metal and heavier gauge steel
