Our Chelmsford based client are a global freight forwarding and supply chain specialist.
They are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their already successful team and assist with the day to day warehouse duties.
Shift times:
Monday - Friday, 07:00am - 16:00pm 1 hour unpaid lunch (40 hours a week)
This is a Temporary to Permanent assignment leading to a full-time position to the right person.
General Purpose of the role:
Ensuring the consistently effective operation of the warehouse, including adherence to all related legislation, health and safety regulations and Company and customer set policies, procedures and instructions and ensuring excellent customer service levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup including loading, packing, wrapping and labelling.
Receive and process warehouse stock products including picking, unloading, labelling and storing.
Insuring that the warehouse is kept in a tidy working state.
Ensuring that quality procedures are adhered to at all times.
Achieve the expected levels of output in a timely manner
Provide regular feedback to the Warehouse Supervisors and Warehouse Manager to ensure a consistently good operation.
Promote a team-work ethos and a 'can-do' approach.
Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Supervisors, Warehouse Administration, Warehouse Management and the Transport Team to create strong working relationships.
Complete any other tasks as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

20 days holiday + bank holidays.
After 3 years this will increase to 25 days + bank holidays.
You will also be enrolled in to the company pension scheme.
