Our Chelmsford based client are a global freight forwarding and supply chain specialist.

They are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their already successful team and assist with the day to day warehouse duties.

Shift times:

Monday - Friday, 07:00am - 16:00pm 1 hour unpaid lunch (40 hours a week)
This is a Temporary to Permanent assignment leading to a full-time position to the right person.

General Purpose of the role:

Ensuring the consistently effective operation of the warehouse, including adherence to all related legislation, health and safety regulations and Company and customer set policies, procedures and instructions and ensuring excellent customer service levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup including loading, packing, wrapping and labelling.
Receive and process warehouse stock products including picking, unloading, labelling and storing.
Insuring that the warehouse is kept in a tidy working state.
Ensuring that quality procedures are adhered to at all times.
Achieve the expected levels of output in a timely manner
Provide regular feedback to the Warehouse Supervisors and Warehouse Manager to ensure a consistently good operation.
Promote a team-work ethos and a 'can-do' approach.
Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Supervisors, Warehouse Administration, Warehouse Management and the Transport Team to create strong working relationships.
Complete any other tasks as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

20 days holiday + bank holidays.

After 3 years this will increase to 25 days + bank holidays.

Our Chelmsford based client are a market leading distributor of heating and plumbing spares. They are looking for an experienced van driver to assist with their day to day deliveries.

Working around Essex and surrounding areas doing 10-15 drops a day to businesses and industrial areas.

This is an ongoing agency requirement which could lead to a more permanent role for the right candidate.

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 07:30am - 17:00pm

Salary

£10.50ph

All hours worked are paid

Multi Drop Delivery Drivers

Do you have previous multi drop van driver experience?
Are you available for immediate start?
We are currently recruiting Multi Drop Delivery Drivers for Parcelforce Chelmsford. They are looking for several candidates to assist with their day to day duties. This demand will increase further with the lead up to the Christmas period.

Duties of a Multi Drop Deliver Driver:

You will be driving long wheelbase Sprinter van delivering to local residential and commercial addresses.
Maintaining a high level of professionalism and adhering to work processes at all times.
Following company policies and workplace guidelines
Being able to follow your route as instructed on the handheld PDA system.
Requirements of a Multi Drop Delivery Driver:

A full and valid 3.5 (Cat B) Driving licence.
You must have a strong work ethic and be comfortable working under your own initiative.
Previous experience of driving a 3.5t van is desirable.
You will have good people skills and a friendly approach.
Previous multi-drop experience is an advantage however training is provided.
A maximum of 6 points on your licence.
Due to the nature of the role you must be physically fit as manual handling of up to 30kgs items is required.
You will be required to carry out various checks to prove your identity.
Shift times:

Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00. Shift times may vary with also weekend work available.

Salary:

£12.00ph

Our Colchester based client is one of the leading bagged and loose aggregate suppliers in East Anglia, London and the Home Counties. They have an ongoing requirement for a Forklift Operator with yard experience to assist with their day to day requirements.

Requirements of a Forklift Operator

Valid Forklift licence with at least Counter Balance
Wrapping of palletised stock
Restocking of bagged aggregates
General sweeping and cleaning duties, keeping the yard tidy
Loading and unloading
Some lifting will be required

Shift hours

Monday - Friday - 06:00 -17:00

Salary

£10.50ph
