🎭 We are seeking to appoint a Director of Drama to support our exemplary Senior School Drama and Theatre provision here at Notre Dame School.

Our Academic and Extra Curricular Drama plays a fundamental role in our whole school from Nursery to Sixth form School.

Our GCSE and A-level Grades have been excellent, and we are delighted that students meet and exceed their projected grades in the subject.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Exam Invigilators to support the organisation and running of our examinations. You will join a supportive team who promote calm and empathy in an environment that can sometimes be stressful. You will play a key role in upholding the integrity of the examinations process, ensuring that examinations are conducted in accordance with specific regulations.

Experience for this position is not essential as full training will be given. However, candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable and flexible. Invigilators are employed on a casual basis throughout the year, hours are variable depending upon your availability and the examination timetable and you may also be required to work at other times during the school year by negotiation.

JOB OVERVIEW
Notre Dame School has an exciting opportunity for a qualified and enthusiastic Drama Technician to support teaching and learning at Notre Dame Senior School Drama Department.

THE PERSON
You will be a technician with experience of one or more of the following: technical production, stage management, lighting design, lighting systems and or set design.
Good knowledge of current health and safety regulations with regard to a theatre environment is essential.

THE ROLE
The role will involve technical support for the theatre and the smooth running of technical aspects of drama productions, drama lessons and related events.
The successful candidate will supervise and train students in the use of lighting and sound systems associated to their academic and co-curricular activities

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Applicants should hold recognised qualification in any of the following: technical production, stage management, lighting and or sound electronics
• Practical knowledge of electrical principles and electrical safety including 3-phase electricity
• Practical skills in building and painting sets, prop making or sourcing
• Previous experience of working as a Drama/Theatre Technician in a school environment
• Organisation skills required for keeping technical and workshop areas clean and tidy

Hours: 3 – 4 Days per week (Term time only)
