Temporary Recruitment Consultant
Ad Hoc Hours Throughout the Summer, possibly ongoing.

Due to a busy summer period and to provide holiday cover, Perfect Recruitment is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our friendly team on a flexible, ad hoc basis.

This role is ideal for someone with previous recruitment experience who is looking for flexible hours to fit around other commitments.

Duties will include:

• Calling and supporting clients
• Filling temporary bookings
• Working alongside our existing consultants to provide desk cover
• Sending booking confirmations
• Candidate reference checking
• Compliance and administration
• General recruitment support as required

About You:

• Previous recruitment experience is preferred
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment

Hours:

There are no set hours. Work will be offered as required throughout the summer, providing flexibility for the right person.

There are some places that mean so much to a community, and Worden Park is certainly one of them.

I'm delighted to support the crowdfunding campaign to help write the next chapter of this iconic Leyland landmark.

A huge amount of credit must go to the passionate young couple behind this project, who are giving their time, energy and vision to transform unused heritage spaces within the Walled Garden into something truly special. Their aim is simple but powerful: creating spaces with the community, for the community.

Plans include:

🌿 Restoring the historic potting shed

🌿 Transforming the glasshouse into a year round community hub

🌿 Creating spaces for arts, music, storytelling, education and wellbeing

🌿 Bringing generations together through gardening, volunteering and learning

🌿 Celebrating the Georgian history of this wonderful site

This project will help reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, encourage volunteering and create opportunities for people of all ages to come together and enjoy this beautiful park.

Worden Park is one of South Ribble's treasures and projects like this deserve our support.

There are just 22 days left for pledges to be received, so if you can support the campaign, please do. Every contribution helps.

Earlier this week, a client said, “Recruitment’s dead. The bottom has fallen out of it.”

And yes, recruitment is tougher than it was 10 years ago. There are real challenges everywhere, clients are under pressure and candidates are harder to find, legislation and paperwork has gone mental. But dead? Absolutely not.

This week alone, the team at Perfect Recruitment have:

✔ Filled a Head Chef position in Lancashire within 7 days
✔ Filled another chef vacancy in Ribble Valley
✔ Placed a lady into a long term office administration role within a warehouse until September in Chorley.
✔ Welcomed several new clients to the Temps desk
✔ Had a good number of temps out working across the region
✔️Lisa has been out judging the BIBAS.

None of this happens by chance. It happens because of relationships, hard work and a team that genuinely cares about delivering results.

Recruitment has changed. It’s harder. It requires resilience and heck of a lot of adaptability. We have adapted and moved to other markets.

But there are still opportunities. There are still great candidates. There are still businesses investing in people.

And after 18 years in business, we’re still seeing great results.
