September at Cool Ventures 📅
It’s been a busy month for the Cool Ventures team! Here’s a look back at some of the highlights:
🌱 14 September – NEETs Group
Our NEETs group were out running their own stall as part of their project, and they did really well! They raised money for Off The Record B&NES through a lucky dip, as well as getting people involved with some fun activities.
Visitors could make their own herb growers and take part in a trail to find the sustainable word for the chance to win a seed pen. 🌿
🤝 17 September – TBE Business Show
We headed to the TBE Business Show, where we had a great time networking, meeting local businesses and manning our Cool Ventures stall. Sue also joined a panel discussion, sharing her experience and insights.
☕ 22 September – B&NES Networking Event
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Midsomer Norton for our networking event. A special thank you to Peter Dixon, High Sheriff of Somerset, for joining us and giving an interesting talk.
💻 24 September – B&NES Co-working Club
Another great opportunity for local businesses to come together, get some work done and connect with others in the business community.
🤝 25 September – South Gloucestershire Networking Event
And today, we rounded off the week with our South Gloucestershire networking event. Thank you to everyone who came along and a special thank you to Fiona Corless for joining us and giving a fantastic talk.
It’s been a brilliant month of connecting, learning and supporting local businesses and communities — and we couldn’t do it without you!
Our work is funded by the local councils and the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and we’re incredibly grateful for their support. We also couldn’t continue doing what we do without the ongoing support of our followers, clients and wider business community.
Thank you for being part of Cool Ventures! 💚
