After nearly 8 years, it is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share that Rume2 will be closing its doors on 30th April 2026.

What started as a simple idea, to create a space where people didn’t have to work alone, grew into something far more meaningful than we ever imagined.

Over the years, more than 2,000 people have worked from Rume2. We’ve hosted talks, workshops, collaborations, friendships, business partnerships and moments of real human connection. For many, it became a second home. A place of routine, support, creativity and belonging.

We are so proud of what has been built here, not just by us, but by every single person who walked through our doors and made it what it was.

Like many small independent businesses, the past few years have been incredibly challenging. We weathered COVID, adapted through the cost of living crisis, and did everything we could to keep going. But with continued rising costs and a sustained drop in occupancy, we’ve reached a point where we can no longer continue sustainably.

This has not been an easy decision. It’s one that comes with a huge amount of sadness, but also an enormous amount of pride.

Rume2 was always about supporting local businesses and creating a community, and we truly believe we’ve done that.
To everyone who has been part of Rume2 over the past 8 years, thank you. You made this place what it was.

We’ll be open as usual until the end of April, and we’d love to see as many of you as possible before we close our doors for the final time.
