🏇 Off The Pass October - A Race Day at Fontwell Racecourse! 🍻

What a top day we had at Fontwell Racecourse yesterday for our second Off The Pass social!

A few winners were had, a few beers were sunk, and plenty of laughs were shared along the way. A brilliant day spent away from the kitchen, bringing chefs together, building friendships and enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

We even got the opportunity to present the winner and choose the Best Turned Out Horse in the fourth race – a pretty cool experience for the group!

Off The Pass is all about giving chefs the chance to step away from the pressures of the kitchen, connect with others and enjoy some time doing something different.

A massive thank you to Fontwell Racecourse for having us. Already looking forward to the next one!

A number of our team have worked abroad including Roby who has cheffed in Belgium, Germany, France and Guernsey; Chloe spent time in hospitality whilst living in Australia and Chef Director Paul also worked for some top hotels in Cairns and Melbourne. And of course we have internationally trained chefs including L**h! 🔪🍽️

It was a fantastic Saturday for Team Summerley, who supported Nyetimber’s exclusive harvest dining experience.

Our brilliant team delivered top-tier service from start to finish so we'd like to say a huge well done to everyone involved! 🍾🥂✨

When the social media manager is a massive Pompey fan then you're guaranteed some decent photos, and yesterday was extra special as Sam & Paul were working in the blue end at St Mary's.

We can happily report that the food and drinks operation worked so much better than last season and our boys were using some cool gadgets to pour the beers as quickly as possible.

Although Pompey didn't come away with a win, we can definitely say that they had the noisiest fans! And a message to - if you need some smiling faces at Fratton Park to serve food and drink with military precision then our A Team are available!

Our weekend was a busy one with weddings, horse racing and top tier catering aboard HMS Warrior! Holly got some great photos including Sam getting into the Oktoberfest spirit at Fontwell and her team at Portsmouth's historic dockyard.

To celebrate our 6th birthday today, we mapped out everywhere Team Summerley has delivered staff and chef coverage over the past 12 months!

From our local clients across Sussex and Hampshire to major sporting venues, events and festivals nationwide, even we were surprised to see how far we had travelled!

From his perfectly dimpled focaccia stunning golden scones, there were no soggy bottoms here! ✨

There’s no pressure to come along, just good people, good conversations and a chance to switch off, recharge and enjoy some time away from the pass.

What an incredible weekend we had at Goodwood Revival! Team Summerley were out in force providing seamless service in the kitchens as well as front of house.

Having been on site since Tuesday prepping everything our chefs delivered hundreds of stunning plates in various locations. Our FOH teams manned the bars and food kiosks from dawn til dusk, keeping the thousands of visitors fed and hydrated!

Thanks to our clients and staff for making it a seamless weekend!
