Fantastic to see our old boss and friend, Mark Squires in the Pybus Recruitment office today.

Mark and his family founded and built Benfield Motor Group (now part of the Lookers family) which was highly respected in the UK Motor Industry. Many of us were fortunate to work there and “enjoy the journey” 😊

💙 Benfield dominated car retail in Newcastle Upon Tyne and represented Volkswagen Group Audi UK Renault Nissan Motor Corporation Ford Motor Company Kia UK Limited Hyundai Motor Company Škoda Auto Toyota (GB) plc Lexus Alfa Romeo and many others in the North East, Carlisle and Yorkshire .💙

The Squires family was a joy to work for. They cultivated great loyalty with many people working there for their whole career. It was ahead of its time in caring for its people and giving them a voice. We all remember fondly the “Best of Benfield” awards and the “200 Club” 🎯🏆🎉

🫣Some may even remember Mark and myself doing the Gangnam Style dance 🕺🕺at the North East Christmas party🫣
