We are seeking a General Maintenance apprentice/trainee. Your role will include joinery and woodworking, roofing, plastering, glazing, grass mowing and strimming, garden, path and drive maintenance, painting and general building, no qualifications required as we will provide further training. A clean driving licence is essential.

Archaeological Excavation Parsons Piece
In less than a week of digging the building is becoming even more interesting.
The cobbled path on the right terminates against the wall, and is contemporary in appearance to the extant construction.
A wall and floor has popped out next to the drain running on the N edge of the path. (The 5 coarses at the front of the picture)
It has the appearance of a large open ended squared building extending to the North for 30 or so metres. Two wings and a rear join.
Another possibility is an L shaped complex with a multi storey tower like structure.

Archaeological Dig at Parsons Piece

Archeoscan is again offering the opportunity to excavate at Parsons Piece - Guiting Power.
They are continuing a larger scale excavation on the footprint of the main manor house building.
