The last few weeks have been a little bit special.

From Buddy adventures around Cheltenham, to story time in nurseries, tuff trays inspired by local landmarks and hundreds of little moments in between…

Watching children connect real places to stories, conversations and imagination has reminded us why community matters so much.

This project was never about marketing. It was about creating something meaningful, supporting local authors, celebrating our town and giving settings something they could genuinely use and enjoy.

Thank you to every school, nursery and educator who has welcomed Buddy (and us) in over the last month- the team have loved it.

Bring on June, the visits, connections and other amazing plans ahead!

That’s a wrap on Term 5 🎉

Before everyone heads into a well-earned half term break, we just wanted to say a big thank you to all the schools, nurseries, teachers, TAs, support staff and everyone else we’ve worked with this term

At Class People, we’ve been focusing on what matters most to us; people, relationships, and supporting schools and settings however we can. That’s something we’re only going to do more of as we move towards the final stretch of the year.

We’re also looking forward to getting back out and about again soon (and yes, Buddy the Bear 🐻 will definitely be joining us for a few visits!)

For now though, we hope you all get a chance to properly switch off, recharge and enjoy the break before Term 6 comes around.

She’s a local teacher who has turned her idea into a children’s book 📚

She first wrote it for her own children - something simple, thoughtful and rooted in Cheltenham, helping little ones discover the place they call home.

We’re proud to support her by getting 200 copies into local nurseries and schools over the coming weeks, so even more children can enjoy her story.

Natalie and Maggie bring over 50 years of combined experience across Early Years, HR and Recruitment and are hugely passionate about supporting settings, staff and children across Gloucestershire and beyond.

From safeguarding and SENCO knowledge to relationship building, responsiveness and genuine care, these two women go above and beyond every single day for the schools and settings they support.

Outside of work you’ll find Natalie running half marathons and climbing mountains, whilst Maggie is likely planning her next travel adventure, enjoying a good book or heading to a concert with her family.
