Are you an experienced Security Officer or new to the industry and looking for opportunities and regular shift patterns?

SSGC are looking for Security Officers for immediate hire (subject to interview and successful vetting).

Previous Security experience is desirable, but not essential.

Working on a Covid Test site, this is an ongoing temporary role with the possibility of other opportunities for further work within SSGC portfolio, to include retail, leisure and other Public Sector contracts.

Pay rate is £10.00ph paid monthly by PAYE, equivalent to approximately £25,000 per year.

12-hour shifts, on a 4 on 4 off rotation (48-52 hours per week).

Day shifts 07.00 – 19.00 OR night shifts 19.00 – 07.00

Candidate

Candidates MUST hold an SIA licence – Security Guarding, Door Supervisor Or Close Protection. There may be opportunities for CCTV operators

The Role

The main responsibilities for this role are:

Keeping the site secure and free from trouble

Monitor Access and Egress of staff and visitors to site

Remain vigilant for threats including theft always and to help where necessary

Ensure safety of the staff and visitors of the site always

Adhere with company policy and comply with all relevant legislations and legal requirements

Keep in line with Social distancing measures

• Provide a safe environment for staff, customers, and visitors to the store
• Patrol all areas of the inside and outer areas of the store site
• Complete daily & documented checks on safe access & egress points throughout the store
• Correct use of store security equipment as required by the store management team
• Deal with customers concerns or enquiries in a confident and professional manner
• Timely reporting of any incidents to store management

· Pay rate is £10.00ph paid monthly by PAYE, equivalent to approximately £25,000 per year.

· Day shifts only, varying in length but at normally 8 to 10 hours per day

· Working on 5 on 3 off standard rotation, with opportunities for overtime available

Working on a Mobile Covid Test site, this is an ongoing project role with the possibility of other opportunities for further work within SSGC portfolio, to include retail, leisure, and other Public Sector contracts.

Previous Security experience is desirable, but not essential.

About You

· You must possess a current SIA license in Frontline Door Supervision or Security Guarding or CP
