We have a full-time position for an enthusiastic qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our South Woodham Ferrers Nursery.
Applicants duties may include:
• on arrival in the morning, you may be greeted by several children calling your name at the same time, like you are the one person they have been waiting to see all day
• the ability to be able to take spontaneous requests to sing nursery rhymes and songs (being in tune is not essential)
• being able to read a book upside down, with at least 5 interruptions per page
• to have a second favourite dinosaur
• having eyes in the back of your head
• being comfortable to be seen in public places on the way home from work with unknow substances on your clothes
• having an in depth knowledge of paw patrol and peppa pig
• the ability to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people
• to remember the names of many children, their pets and special soft toys
• to be prepared to feel loved special and important to many young children and their families (There is simply no other job like this one)
And finally you must be prepared to facilitate and engage in lots of fun activities and play alongside the children being an amazing role model, extend and build on their existing knowledge and learning. A willingness to work well with and support the other members of our amazing team.
