We're so proud of our teams here at Jesters, and what better way to show it than to confidently enter the whole team into awards, so the recognition is not just from within...
🏆We've just entered the Essex Countywide Business Awards and also the National NMT Nursery Awards this week, we'll keep you posted with our progress.
Part of the NMT criteria was to provide both family and staff testimonials. We asked Hollie, our Jesters Servicewide Nursery School & Curriculum Lead to put into words what she thinks about being part of our 'Jesters Family':
"One of the many reasons I love working at Jesters is due to the fact that I know our greatest strength lies in our staff. Every member of our team brings passion, knowledge, and dedication to ensuring every child thrives. Together, we create an environment where children feel nurtured, valued, and inspired to explore the world around them and learn. This creates a working environment like no other, as we know we are all there delivering the same ethos throughout.
We know that children’s early experiences lay the foundations for their future, and we are proud of the impact we have in supporting this. Whether it’s fostering language and communication, encouraging independence, or building resilience and self-worth, our staff are committed to helping each child discover their potential. We don’t just prepare children for school, we prepare them for life, equipping them with the confidence, creativity, and curiosity to embrace every opportunity.
I feel a sense of pride and accomplishment when I read testimonies from families as they notice the huge improvements in their children’s confidence, communication, and love for learning, as well as the joy their children feel when coming to Jesters each day, another example of the united work ethic the whole team values and exuberates. Our wellbeing dog, Otis, is also a much-loved part of the team, bringing comfort and calm when it’s needed most, and reminding us that learning and wellbeing go hand in hand, another reason I feel that children are on heart of all we do, making me a proud member of Jesters.
I feel what makes Jesters unique is the way we combine professional expertise with genuine care. Our team is made up of highly skilled practitioners, including qualified teachers such as myself, who understand that every child is different. We tailor learning to individual needs and development, celebrating every milestone.
I am pleased to have been part of the many unique programmes that have been devised, offering children learning experiences and opportunities they may not experience, providing a strong sense of cultural capital: our School Readiness Programme, Zones of Regulation, Wellbeing Calendar, Ambitions Calendar and our Enriched Curriculum all strike a balance of learning and fulfilment.
The impact of Jesters can be seen every day in the smiles, achievements, and confidence of our children. It’s more than a job, it’s a passion and a privilege to build futures for the next generation."
