We recently had the privilege of supporting the My Shining Star Children's Cancer Charity Golf Day by sponsoring a hole and taking part in a truly fantastic event. ⛳💜

It was brilliant to see so many people come together in support of such an important cause, with plenty of laughs, great company and an amazing atmosphere throughout the day.

A huge congratulations and thank you to everyone involved in organising and supporting the event. The time, effort and generosity that went into making the day such a success was incredible to see.

Today is World Bee Day, a reminder of just how important bees are to our environment, our food systems and the biodiversity around us.

At 26 Recruitment, we're lucky to work within the Historic Dockyard Chatham! A site that is not only rich in history, but also home to its very own Dockyard Apiary. Established in partnership with the Medway Beekeepers Association, the apiary supports the local ecosystem and helps protect bees at a time when they continue to face challenges from habitat loss, disease and pesticides.

Tucked away near the Main Gate, the bees forage among the Dockyard's wildflowers and plants, playing their part in keeping the area buzzing with life. It's a lovely reminder that even in a historic working environment, nature has an important place too.

🧁🍰 For World Baking Day this year, the team swapped recruitment for rolling pins and brought their homemade creations into the office to share and taste test!

The office spread included Paw Patrol and Stitch cupcakes, lovingly made by Clare and her kids, Olivia's banoffee pie, Debbie's raspberry cake, Julia's chocolate cookies, Megan's milk chocolate chip cookies, Mallika's coconut & jam cake, and a pineapple upside down cake by Alan's which didn't make it into the office...

Recruitment may be what we do best, but after today, it turns out the 26 Recruitment team has a few hidden bakers too. 👨🏼‍🍳👩🏼‍🍳

As it was World Cocktail Day yesterday, the team thought they'd celebrate in house this year! 🍹

First task in the hiring process though, securing the the services of Olivia's Ninja Slushi!

Its first assignment? Piña coladas in the office.

Safe to say, it passed probation with flying colours.

There was pineapple, there was coconut, but most importantly, there was a very happy team.

Here's to good people, good vibes, and the occasional office treat that makes the working day that little bit sweeter.
