Our Story
Tara Martins Community Project is a not for profit organisation, inspiring and engaging vulnerable people to use their natural abilities in the arts, sports and music to help combat homelessness, unemployment, crime and other social problems. We work closely with other charities, Government Organisations, Faith groups, Schools and Youth Organisations to raise awareness and funds to support the street homeless, as well as those that are threatened with homelessness and unemployment situations. We have a number of Sheltered accommodation facilities where we provide care and support to this group of people. Our drop-in centre also provides a hub where our service users can get help with many challenges they are facing as a result of their marginalised situation. We aim to provide for those in need, we have almost everything you could need at good quality prices and for those in need we also have free supplies (ask for details in store). Everybody deserves a shelter. Help us to end homelessness, because you never know when times can hit hard. We aim to provide a warm and welcoming service to those who visit, as well as those who stay with us. As a charity, we stay in touch with those who have needed our help. and our doors are always open. We also offer not just items, or objects, we provide training programmes, warm food, and potential to get yourself work experience. Our family is growing everyday, and if you want to join, get in touch.
