We're celebrating 2 remarkable work anniversaries today at CPS Group UK Limited 🎉

First up, Stuart Swift, our incredible Team Manager in Cardiff, is celebrating an impressive 6 years with us. Jake Denman spoke about Stu's journey with us:

Next, we have the pleasure of celebrating an astonishing 11 years with our Group Chief Operating Officer, Huw Pryce. We asked Jason Grandin to share some words about Huw's time here. Here's what he said to say:

🗣️ Wow, 11 years! During his time with us, Prycey has taught me so much and helped me evolve and grow as a person in and out of work. Double the celebrations today at Group (UK) CPS Group UK Limited 🎉 Our Sales, Service & Innovation Director, Adam Rees, has been a part of our team for an impressive 11 years. Meanwhile, our Permanent Director, Jake Denman, is celebrating an outstanding 6 years with us.

Having joined us as a Trainee Consultant, Adam has consistently been one of the top performers in our Contract Team, delivering fantastic results year-on-year. He conceptualised our Fuse Digital Consulting offering and has taken this to market superbly, only possible thanks to his knowledge, experience and reputation in the market.

As Permanent Director, Jake has re-shaped our offering, driving standards to a level that is unrivalled in our space. His unwavering commitment to the business is recognised by all our people and clients that he works with. He has created and grown our operation in Bristol alongside running his team in Cardiff and is respected not just within the company, but also throughout the recruitment industry.

While we've been reminiscing about two decades of the CPS Group UK Limited, we've certainly highlighted our highs. However, it's equally important to acknowledge the challenges we've faced along the way.

In March 2020, when the world was grappling with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, our CEO Jason Grandin faced one of the most challenging moments of his career. Just after celebrating our most successful year to date, our business was suddenly thrown into uncertainty by the global lockdown.

It's a reminder that success isn't just about the highs but how we navigate the lows that truly define us.

We're the Business Fives Champions League Winners of 2023 🏆

A big shout-out to Kieran O'Connor, Gareth Thomas, Niall Okakpu, Jon McCarthy, Sebastian Scott and Luke Boyle for securing the win! Not only did they bring home the trophy, but they also won £350 for our charity partner, City Hospice.

It was a fantastic event and a great opportunity to meet lots of new faces. The guys also had the chance to meet Joe Ledley as the guest speaker.

Throughout August we've been taking part in the Road to the Rugby World Cup Challenge! Our team (and their four-legged friends 🐕‍🦺) have been running, walking, cycling and rowing and so far we've managed to tick off over 400 miles between us 🏃‍♀️

We're raising funds for our incredible Charity Partner, City Hospice. City Hospice cares for patients and their families at what can be the most difficult time of their lives. Their services are provided free of charge, meaning they need to raise more than £2.3m each year to ensure they can keep caring for Cardiff.
