RECYCLING OPERATIVES URGENTLY REQUIRED - IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE!!!
ALS People are acting as the recruitment agency on behalf of our client for Sort Line Operative be based on their site in Leatherhead in Recycling Centre.
Working as a Recycling Operative, you would be working as part of a team, working on a busy production line, sorting recyclable materials from non-recyclable materials and reporting blockages/health and safety concerns to the supervisor. You will be required to fully comply with all Health and Safety instructions on the recycling facility.

The role involves the following duties:
- Working on a line to sort materials
- Following health and safety rules on site.
- Making sure the site and all positions are clean by the end of the shift.

This role has full on-site training including Health & Safety on site induction.
* This is an opportunity for long-term work

WORKING HOURS:
Shift pattern:
AM: Monday to Friday: 7:00-15:45 - occasionally shifts over the weekend can be required

SALARY: £11.20 /h

Own transport is required.

This is a full time position.⏰
The successful candidates will be hard working, reliable and willing to work outdoors.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safe operation and condition of premises, plant, and equipment at all times in accordance with health and safety.
• Provide support, advice, and assistance to members of the public.
• General labour, including loading, unloading, and handling items from facility users’ vehicles as required.
• Ensure the premises and equipment are maintained and kept in a clean and serviceable condition.
Requirements:
• A good level of English communication
• Must be comfortable working in a partly exposed area in all weather conditions: PPE provided.
• Must be able to work well as part of a team.
• No experience required as full training is provided.
Pay rates: £9.50p.h
The working hours are form 0900 to 1600 5 days a week (which includes working at the weekend)

ALS People are currently recruiting for the role of Line Picker/Operative to work for a well-known Company in Partington, South Manchester M31.
Working on an automated paper picking line you will be required to pick (remove) items of contamination to ensure waste material segregation is fully achieved.
Candidates do not require previous experience and full training will be given.
Car advantageous due to location, there is a bus service that stops nearby.
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday.
Work Hours: 14.00 – 22.30pm rotation 6.00-14.30pm
40 hours per week.
Pay Rate: £9.50.
Overtime available- £14.25 per hour (before shift also at weekends)

ALS People are currently seeking 2 x Team Leaders in a busy Recycling Facility, for our client based in Wandsworth, London SW18. (Ability to speak Polish is highly desirable)

JOB PURPOSE
• Working with people, machinery, management, processing and analysis in a busy recycling facility.
• To lead and assist in the day to day operational activities of the site under the instructions of Site Supervisors & on-site account manager.
• Maintaining safety standards and optimal production levels.
• To support the Supervisor in overseeing the team of Operatives working on the production lines.

SHIFT PATTERN:
• Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm (Morning Shift)
• Monday to Friday 2pm – 10pm (Late Shift)
• Saturday 7am – 3pm (2 x per month)
• Overtime available on request.

PAY RATE:
• £11.35 per hour – (37.5 hour standard week + Saturday & Overtime) Paid weekly during probation and training
• £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (Paid monthly once qualified)
