Our Client support teenagers and adult with a variety of learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism and acquired brain injury. Most are very active and we encourage all to make the most of any opportunities and try new experiences.
What other job is going to involve trips to see music events, the theatre, cinema; days out at the farm; lots of parties and fun days.
Of course it isn't all plain sailing, and not all about having fun, care work is not easy, but the good times outweigh the not so good and helping these lovely people get the most out of life is always worth it. Please like, comment and share.

Last week Micheal completed a successful 12 week temp to perm placement with one of our Care Providers via our agency. Concerns regarding persons impersonating agency care workers. CIW urge all service providers to confirm identity of all agency workers who are working at their services.
The statutory guidance specifically states:
“Where agency staff are deployed service providers MUST ensure that they are subject to the same checks as permanently employed staff and have evidence to demonstrate that the checks have been undertaken.
This may include confirmation and checklists supplied by any agency, where sufficiently reliable and robust”.
