Contracts Manager – Construction - Kent - £52,000 Plus Car

My client is an established Leading Main Contractor in Construction, involved in Site Landscaping and General Contracting. They have an incredibly strong order book and are experiencing rapid growth. Opportunities like this do not come around often therefore please do not hesitate in applying.

Xquisite Recruitment are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager for the Kent area where he / she will be overseeing approximately 8 sites. Reporting into the Contracts Director It is envisaged you will be out on site most of the time with occasional work carried out in the office for administration.

You will be managing a number of projects from conception to completion and be accountable for all aspects of the projects delivery which will include; -

· Responsible for all staff’s welfare on site

· Health & Safety on Site

· Housekeeping & Toolbox Talks

· Overseeing all financial aspects of the project and being aware of costs and quoting for work

· Monitor project budgets and expenses.

· Visiting staff on site

· Liaising with clients at all levels, forging positive relationships.

· All Contract Administration

· Represent the client in a strategic manner that gives them confidence the work will be scheduled, completed, and carried out to a high standard.

· Negotiate and ensure Compliance with contracts.

· Risk Management, identify and mitigate project tasks.

· Quality Assurance

· Procure materials.

· Attend meetings as and when required.

My Client’s Bedroom Furnishings division provide furnishing solutions that will fit in with their customers’ homes perfectly. The team supply’s and fits storage and bedroom furniture, from cutting edge styles to contemporary classics.

Reporting to the Fitting & Service Manager, you will be responsible for the installation of Bedroom Furniture and Sales Centre Installations to the company

You will be expected to:

Work to a training programme and develop necessary skills to become a trained bedroom fitter where you could earn up to 40k once established.

Work to tight deadlines in line with the Groups fitting schedule requirements.
Produce a high quality of workmanship in line with Group standards on all installations carried out.
Effective liaison with internal office teams and site teams as appropriate to ensure installation is carried out.
Carry out site measures as and when required in line with installation brief.
Carry out other tasks to suit business needs.
Deliver and assemble furniture on sites as and when required in line with installation brief.
Ensure company van and all tools and equipment supplied are maintained to the required Group standards.
Ensure Health & Safety on site is adhered to at all times in line with Group guidelines and policy.
Ensure correct reporting in line with business needs and expectations.
What you'll need?
