We’re hiring KMMS Assessment Support Roles!

Throughout June and July 2026, Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) will be holding their clinical assessment period.

We’re recruiting for two key roles to support the event:
Assessment Patients, 26th June - 16th July (£15.15 + holiday pay)

Ambassadors, 26th June - 17th July (£13.15 + holiday pay)

Details about each role:

Assessment Patients
You’ll take part in non-invasive clinical examination stations, including basic checks such as blood pressure and heart/lung observations, while following a simple script and support repeated student assessments throughout the day. Full training is provided.

Ambassadors
You’ll help keep assessment days running smoothly, supporting registration, directing students and staff, assisting with movement between stations, and providing general on-the-day operational support.

CCCU’s annual hackathon and games jam has officially come to a close - and what an incredible event it was.

Over 24 hours, students from diverse backgrounds across computing, games design and graphic design worked together to develop innovative solutions to real-world business challenges set by our Hackabury 2026 sponsors.

Congratulations to the winners, runners-up, and everyone who took part - you made this an event to remember.

We’re hiring an Exhibition Champion to help CCCU’s Arts and Culture department!

As an Exhibition Champion, you will help oversee and deliver the department’s end of year Degree Exhibition from 22 May 2026 - 30 May 2026.

Duties and responsibilities
🔹Open and close the exhibition.
🔹Welcome visitors, and answer any questions they may have.
🔹Keep visitors and displays safe.
🔹Ensure all electronics and tech are switched off at the start and end of each day.
🔹Provide content for social media
🔹Ask visitors to complete short questionnaires.

Skills and experience
🔹Be a friendly, outgoing and pro-active person who is comfortable talking to members of the public and providing guidance and information.
