We’re looking for 10 temporary Room Survey Auditors!

In this role, you’ll be supporting Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) with a one-week survey across teaching, office and social spaces.

You'll follow set routes around campus, recording the number of occupants in different rooms and spaces. The role involves plenty of walking, accurate data recording and occasional interaction with staff and students.

We're looking for people who are:
🔹Reliable and punctual,
🔹Organised and confident
🔹Can work independently, with good basic literacy and numeracy skills.

You'll be working from 9am-5pm, so comfortable shoes are recommended!

Ideally, applicants will be available for the full survey week.

That’s a wrap on Welcome Week at CCCU!

It’s been a busy few days for our team - getting out and about across campus to meet new and returning students.

At the Welcome Fair, our ambassador had a steady stream of students stopping by throughout the day to chat about Unitemps and the opportunities available alongside their studies.

We also attended the International Fraud Prevention event, before rounding off the week with a pop-up in collaboration with the Careers and Enterprise Hub and Students’ Union.

To bring an end to a fantastic and busy week, our team pitched up alongside the Careers and Enterprise Hub and the Students Union. Throughout the day students stopped by to chat, play games and enjoy some pizza while relaxing in the sun.

Thanks to everyone who came over and said hello. We’re looking forward to seeing plenty more students throughout the year!

First and foremost is Carly Pocock, Research, Enterprise and Knowledge Mobilisation (REKM) Officer at Canterbury Christ Church University.

Here is Carly explaining a bit about her role at Unitemps CCCU:

“I support Unitemps with external vacancies, helping to place students and graduates in job openings with local businesses across Kent and Medway.

“My role helps to provide opportunities for students to gain invaluable skills and work experience that will enhance their CV ready for when they start their careers.”

Help make new students feel welcome as they start their first year at university!

We're looking for current CCCU students and recent graduates to become Welcome Fair Assistants.

You will support with setting up welcome fair events on the 15th and 16th September - welcoming stallholders and student groups, handing out goody bags, keeping the event running smoothly and helping with packing up.

There are roles available on the following days:

1️⃣5️⃣ 2 people on Tuesday 15 September: 15:00–18:00 to help setup at the Sports Centre

1️⃣6️⃣ 1 person on Wednesday 16 September to start at 09:00–17:00 and support the welcome fair.

You'll need good communication skills and to be comfortable speaking with groups of people.

You must be a current CCCU student or recent graduate.
