Yesterday, Rebecca and I had the pleasure of attending a fantastic networking event at the new home of Cambridge City Football Club. ⚽️

We met some amazing people, heard about the brilliant work they’re doing and had the chance to make some great new connections.

Alice was absolutely great and it was fantastic to hear more about her vision for the club and the new venue.

We’re really hoping that we at Select can support Alice and Cambridge City Football Club in the future as the venue grows and reaches its full potential.

A really enjoyable evening and we’re excited to see what comes next! 👏

🚨 Warehouse Operative – PM Shift 🚨

📍 Ely, Cambridgeshire

Looking for your next opportunity? We're recruiting a Warehouse Operative for a temp-to-perm position with a well-established company in Ely.

💰 £13.65 per hour, increasing to £14.15 per hour after successful completion of probation.

🕒 Monday to Friday
3:30pm – 12:00am (PM Shift)

Your responsibilities will include:

📦 Loading and unloading goods (manually and using a forklift)

📦 Picking and packing customer orders

📋 Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate records

🧹 Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe

✔️ Completing quality control checks

What we're looking for:

✅ Counterbalance Forklift experience is essential

✅ A valid or recently expired Counterbalance licence will be considered

Training

📅 Successful candidates must be available to complete training on the day shift (Monday–Friday, 10:00am–6:30pm) for the first few weeks/month before moving onto the permanent PM shift.
