To support the use of IT within Sirona by providing 1st line IT support covering a range of software and hardware running over LAN and WAN infrastructures.

The post holder will administer the Service Desk system, logging all calls, diagnosing software and hardware faults, allocate jobs accordingly to 2nd line and other teams and monitor the status of open jobs in line with the department’s Service Level Agreements. Strong communication is key to this role and the post holder will need to be very effective in this area.

10 people are required to complete hand packing of Council Tax Bills, Benefit Notification Letters and enclosures commencing on 5 March up to 10 March 2020. The contract end date is flexible, subject to change and could be reduced or extended as needed.

The job will involve hand packing of approx. 19,500 Housing Benefit and Council Tax Bills. Staff would be required to insert a letter into an envelope which is already pre-packed with a number of enclosures. It is essential that all correspondence collated relates to the same person.

Applicants will need to have a good level of numeracy and literacy, be of good physical health and due to the nature of the work have a good level of manual dexterity.
