Regarding the shops on Anglesey avenue we have even offered to rent these from Calico just so that we can have the shutters raised daily, even though the shops we currently rent (Sycamore Convenience Store) has had a serious leak for over 12 months every time it rains water leaking in from the walkway above, reported to them many times. We still feel that opening the shutters to the other shops on a daily basis would make the area more inviting and so better for the community and people living all around the area, so if you agree would you please share this post, the more people that shares then perhaps Calico will help us to help to bring back a community feeling back to the area.

As you all know we have been running the shops on Anglesey Avenue (Sycamore Convenience/Off Licence Store for over 12 Months now, but we are sill getting new customers coming in saying that they did not know we were open or that the shop had changed hands, the main road past Anglesey Ave is Sycamore Ave and no matter which direction you go along Sycamore the two buildings you see are Community Link and Residents Association and as these are not used on a daily basis the shutters are always down making the area appear derelict, but I can assure you there are two businesses open daily in this square, Sycamore Convenience/Off Licence is open 7 days a week opening times clearly printed on the front of he shop, there is also (Indulgence) hairdressers directly across from our shops. It has been brought to the attention of Calico that if the shutters on the shops were raised on a daily basis it would look like they are actually in use and make the area look less derelict. If you agree and raise this with Calico perhaps the shutters could be raised.

If you do shop at Sycamore Convenience Store on Anglesey Avenue please show a little patience as we have started a free delivery service for our senior citizens and people who can not get to the shop so if you call and the door locked during opening hours it will only be for a few minutes while we deliver locally. Thank you for your consideration.
