We’ve loved having Layla with us this week for her work experience placement! 👏
Over the course of the week, Layla got involved in lots of different areas of the business to get a real insight into the recruitment industry and office life. She spent time finding leads through CVs and Indeed, sat with all of our different desks listening in on sales calls, and was particularly interested in the driving desk. 🚛
Layla also got to see the creative side of the business, learning about content creation and social media. She listened in on our social media meeting, watched how content is filmed, and really enjoyed hearing all the different ideas we come up with as a team. 🎥📱
One of the biggest things Layla has taken away from the experience is what it’s like working in a full-time office environment. Before joining us, she didn’t know much about the recruitment industry or what to expect, so it’s been great to give her a real understanding of how the industry works day to day.
Layla will be completing her A Levels next year, followed by university the year after, and she said this week has given her a lot to think about when it comes to her future career path.
It’s been a pleasure having Layla with us this week, she’s been enthusiastic, engaged, and eager to learn throughout. We’re sad to see her go and wish her all the best for the future! 🌟
