Project SEARCH gives young people with learning difficulties and/or autism the opportunity to learn workplace skill in a host business. There is support from specialist colleagues, a workplace coach and a classroom tutor. It has been extremely successful in the US and in other UK cities. So how does it work? A full time job coach and a full time classroom tutor support the interns on a daily basis

and will visit teams to help pin down tasks, teach these effectively to the interns using a tried and tested method of instruction and support both the team and the interns as required.
