The role as a Class 2 driver/Loader

Performing daily vehicle checks, reporting defects and carrying out basic maintenance tasks
Moving recycling or waste from where it is presented near properties and loading it onto the vehicle
Sorting and separating recycling into different stillage units on the collection vehicles as required
Ensuring that loads are properly and safely secured before going to tip
Being polite and courteous to members of the public and others, contacting Supervisors if necessary
Unloading items safely from the collection vehicle at our sites if required and following tip site rules
Adhering to all contractual requirements with the Council, including assisted collection procedures
Working in line with Safe Working Procedures while ensuring the required clothing and PPE is worn
The shifts for Class 2 Driver/Loader

Monday – Friday
06.15am – approx. 14:30
Occasional Saturdays
